1st introducing class for 1st years students will be held on 16.07.2012 at 11 am. Students of 1st year must atten on that day with their fees cards.

Note: Sanskrit is not offered with Economics or Elective English.

Mathematics, Economics & Political Science/ Statistics/Computer Science.

INDUSTRIAL FISH & FISHERIES

IFF Major

The fee structure of Industrial Fish and Fisheries Major and Computer Science will be notified before admission.
Note: No change of subject will be permitted after one month of admission.

  Admission commences after the publication of results by the Higher Secondary Council and other Boards. The College frames rules for admission every year in accordance with West Bengal State University norms. Admission is provisional and it is confirmed only after verification of mark sheets and testimonials by the University.
Application for admission must be made in the prescribed application form to be had from the College office within the scheduled date and time. Incomplete application forms not complying with instructions are liable to be rejected. Students seeking admission are therefore advised to fill up the application form correctly and comply with all formalities laid down for admission. Students selected by the college for admission must deposit the necessary fees as directed by the College failing which their admission will stand cancelled. The following documents should be submitted along with the application for admission.
Attested Copies of:
i) Admit Card of the previous Examination for verification of the date of birth.
ii) Mark sheets of all previous examinations.
iii) Registration Certificate.
iv) Migration Certificate (if the student is from any Education Board other than the Higher Secondary Council, West Bengal).
v) SC/ST/OBC Certificate wherever applicable.
All mark sheets, certificates and documents have to be provided in original for scrutiny. In addition to the above documents a letter from the parent/legal guardian appointing a local guardian (if the student resides separately from parent or legal guardian) is also required. No application for admission will be considered unless it is countersigned by the parent/legal guardian/local guardian of the candidate.
The number of students to be admitted in each subject is strictly according to the rules prescribed by the West Bengal State University . Seats for SC/ST and OBC candidates are reserved according to the Government rules.

  The West Bengal State University regulations require a minimum of 75% attendance in all classes, theoretical and practical, in all subjects. No admit card for University examinations will be issued to examinees who fail to attain the minimum percentage in attendance as required by the West Bengal State University . Attendance in all college class tests and examinations is compulsory. Students absent from class tests and examinations on medical grounds must inform the college authorities and must submit a medical certificate and a letter from the parent/guardian.

1. No application for transfer/cancellation will be entertained unless all dues are cleared.
2. There will be no refund of any fee of a candidate cancelling his/her admission.
3. All applications for transfer/cancellation are to be made by parents/guardians on plain paper stating reasons.
4. Students who discontinue studies mid-session but fail to withdraw their names from the college will have to pay fees for the full academic year.
